We helped a confectionery manufacturer develop new product categories, adapt formulations to existing equipment and expand its product development team.
An established confectionery manufacturer wanted to expand into new product categories to create opportunities for higher margins and make better use of its existing production resources. The challenge was to connect new ideas with the plant's actual capabilities. This required suitable technologies, ingredients and formulations adapted to existing equipment, alongside a team capable of supporting further product launches.

We audited the manufacturing site and selected technology options suited to its capabilities. This helped structure portfolio development decisions and identify which products to prioritise.
We connected the client with suitable raw material suppliers and optimised several formulations for its existing equipment. Product development was closely linked to the practical conditions of manufacturing.
In parallel, we supported the expansion of the technical team from one person to three, strengthening the client's internal formulation and process development capabilities.
According to the client, high production utilisation now results in longer order lead times.
